Accommodation can vary with size of dog, our main kennel block caters for 34 medium to large breeds. All kennels have inner bedding area and outside run.
We have a special exclusive accommodation for toy breeds who could be horrified to see larger breeds. They have their own courtyard, two exercise grass pens and can walk round at there own pace. This block is only for 10 toy dogs, well worth booking early for.
We cater for extra large dogs e.g.. Pyreneans and Great Danes. These large pens have no trap door to duck under causing injury but just a great feel for open space with wooden boards and carpet they can stretch out on.
We recommend that you bring your own beds and treats. Even just a blanket would do.
In the winter months heating at night is supplied with no extra charge.
KENNEL COUGH PREVENTION NOTICE
Whenever dogs are in environments such as Kennels, Shows, Training classes, vet's waiting rooms and town and country parks, they are always exposed to the risk of contracting Kennel Cough (TRACHEOBRONCHITIS). There is now an easy and effective way to protect your pet (And others) by vaccination from your veterinary surgeon. Vaccination is required 2 weeks before boarding so that Kennel Cough is not contracted prior to boarding and is not passed on to others. We firmly believe in keeping the virus out of our kennels, so for the sake of your pet and our many other canine guests, please vaccinate, PREVENTION IS IN YOUR HANDS.
Exercise
All dogs are exercised twice a day. We start walking at 8am
and again at 4pm.
Dogs that prefer open space to run can exercise in our gravel area runs or if trusted, in our acre paddock (Above Photo). A happy dog is one that has attention, we will always try our best with timid dogs, once walked they gain our trust.
There is no extra charge for dogs on medication or insulin jabs
